A smaller but well-known electricity and gas supplier, Nova Power and Gas, now has by far the best residential natural gas deal, well below market rates. However, the price is variable.
Nova Power and Gas offers those who want to become natural gas customers a much lower price than the one currently practiced by most suppliers and lower than the one in the offers of the others, according to the data from ANRE’s price comparator.
Nova comes with a “commodity gas” price without network tariffs and taxes of only 0.11 lei/kWh, below the level of 0.15 lei currently regulated for the purchase of suppliers from domestic gas producers and even below the level of 0.12 lei/kWh which would be applied from April 1, together with the new legislative changes that would come into force.
This means that, for customers supplied from the two large gas distribution networks, Distrigaz Sud Reețele (south of the country) and Delgaz Grid (north of Romania), the final billing price, including tariffs and taxes, is only 0, 21 lei/kWh. The price is valid for consumption category C1, i.e. most household customers.
