the installed capacity of all renewable energy projects that have obtained all approvals and authorizations to produce electricity is now over 3,500 MW, according to ANRE data.
As of September 1, the installed capacity of renewable energy generation projects that have concluded connection contracts, have a construction permit and also obtained an establishment permit from ANRE was 3,514 MW, according to the Authority’s data.
The volume is almost double (90% increase) compared to the situation on March 1, when in this situation there were projects totaling 1,845 MW.
These are the projects that have the best chance of being completed and ultimately producing electricity. 87 renewable projects have now reached this stage, given that in the first stage of development – obtaining the Technical Approval for Connection (ATR), there are currently over 1,100 projects, with a total capacity of 51,000 MW, of over 2, 8 times more than the installed capacity of the country.
Here, in summary, is the situation of all renewable projects presented by ANRE
Theoretically (practically, delays are quite likely to occur), ANRE data show that, this year, commissioning is scheduled for 39 projects with an installed capacity (maximum power approved for evacuation) of 716 MW, according to ANRE data.
For next year, the estimate is that 32 new power plants will be put into operation, but with a total maximum power of 2,377 MW.
