ROMANIA: Electrica and Esyasoft establish a company dedicated to energy storage technologies and network digitalization

On Friday, the documents for the establishment of the new company within the Electrica Group, called Electrica Esyasoft Smart Solutions S.A., were officially signed.

Electrica Esyasoft Smart Solutions S.A., owned 25% by Societatea Energetică Electrica S.A. and 75% of Esyasoft Enterprise Holding RSC LTD, will focus on smart grid technologies (including storage solutions – batteries and grid digitalization. With a team of experienced professionals and a robust strategic plan, it aims to have a substantial impact in the Romanian energy sector, a press release from Electrica shows.

Esyasoft Group (Abu Dhabi) specializes in providing end-to-end grid modernization and automation solutions, through Smartgrid technologies, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage and consumer engagement, communications network, IT, IoT and advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions for energy, gas and water utilities. Esyasoft provides critical grid automation and modernization solutions globally, with offices in over 10 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, India, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the Americas, serving over 35 global utility companies.
