ROMANIA: Allview Solar Energy will develop a 1,963 MWp photovoltaic park at Salina Cacica

Visual Fan Company, through its Allview Solar Energy division, announces the signing of a contract with the National Salt Company S.A., for the design and execution of a photovoltaic park with a nominal capacity of 1.963 MWp. Located in the Pârteștii de Jos locality, Suceava county, the project represents an important step in the transition towards energy sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
Technical details of the project:
The technical solution proposed by Allview Solar Energy includes state-of-the-art components:
• Growatt inverters, recognized for their reliability and efficiency.
• High-performance photovoltaic panels, produced in Europe.
• Complex monitoring and communication system.
• Integration into OD SCADA.
• 2500 kVA 0.4/20kV transformer station.
• Auxiliary equipment: electrical panels, connection cables, metal structure for panel mounting, grounding installations, lighting and surveillance system.
This project will have an installed capacity of 1.963 MWp in direct current and 1.875 MW in nominal alternating current, with an estimated gross annual production of 2016.92 MWh.
Impact and benefits
The implementation of this project brings a number of significant benefits, including:
• Reduction of CO2 emissions by 1244 tons annually.
• Increase in the capacity to produce energy from renewable sources, with a total production estimated at 39209 MWh over the operating period of 20 years.
• Reduction of dependence on electricity from the National Energy System, contributing to the decrease of the operational costs of the National Salt Company S.A.
• Alignment with European and national strategic objectives regarding renewable energy, including Directive (EU) 2018/2001 and the National Integrated Energy-Climate Change Plan 2021-2030.
