Romanian company Simtel Team is set to receive the establishment authorization from ANRE for a 5.4 MW photovoltaic park to be built in Sibiu County.
“Draft decision and report on the granting of the Establishment Authorization requested by the company SIRIUS IMMOB 2 SRL for the construction of the new energy capacity Centrala Electrică Fotovoltaică (CEF) Iacobeni”. This is one of the decisions to be adopted by the ANRE Regulatory Committee in its next meeting this week.
At the time when ANRE issues the establishment authorization, the project developer must prove that it has the financing for the construction of the energy capacity, so this project will most likely be one of those that will be completed and will produce electricity.
According to Termene.ro, the company developing the photovoltaic project is owned by Simtel Team, a Romanian company founded in 2010 by three Romanian entrepreneurs (Iulian Nedea, Sergiu Bazarciuc and Radu Vilău). The company operates in 3 areas of activity – integrator of solutions in the field of telecommunications, renewable energy and industrial automation, and electricity supply.
The project in Iacobeni, in Sibiu County, has a capacity of almost 5.4 MWp, with an annual production estimated at 7.45 GWh.
“In 2024, two new projects at the ready-to-build stage were acquired, Salonta and Iacobeni, which will be completed by the end of 2024. With the completion of the three projects Pleșoiu, Salonta and Iacobeni, the Company estimates that these parks will generate revenues of over 7 million lei per year,” Simtel’s 2024 report states.
At the end of February, ANRE issued the establishment authorization for a photovoltaic park with a planned installed capacity of 52 MWp DC, for which the company also obtained 12 million euros in financing through the PNRR, in Giurgiu.
